About Us
Committed to Healing, Learning, and Growing Together
EARTH: Empowering All Relatives To Heal, is co-creating itself through a movement of spirit. EARTH is a grassroots organization built upon a community-based, participatory action approach. EARTH aims to support the intersectional healing, health, and well-being of people, communities, and our environment using depth-oriented strategies. EARTH draws upon ancient wisdom and practices, traditional Indigenous knowledge systems, and contemporary science, to support the conscious and continuous weaving and re-weaving of community, culture, purpose, and meaning.

Mission, Vision, and Values
EARTH cares deeply for the whole of life and is rooted in principles of interdependence.

Mission:
EARTH exists to nurture the flourishing of individuals and communities through deeply rooted relationships, ancestral healing traditions, humility, and reverence for all of life. EARTH walks alongside those impacted by trauma, stress, and injustice, reclaiming sovereignty and tending a circle of restoration and care, rooted in the heartbeat of ancestral wisdom.
Vision:
EARTH envisions a world where all individuals and communities have access to ancestrally and culturally-aligned healing; a world where health of body, mind, spirit, and land is a shared birthright.
Values:
EARTH cares deeply for the whole of life and is rooted in principles of sacred interdependence amongst all things.
EARTH rests upon the ancient wisdom traditions of the world, that precede and inform the efforts of modern science, to nurture and restore the ecology of all living systems.

EARTH believes when we as individuals heal in relationship to one another, the culture, community, and land from which we arise, we contribute to the healing, strengthening, and renewal of the whole.

Self-Care in Context. Self-care has been co-opted into an overly individualistic construct that fails to recognize appropriately distributed causality and thus how to build personal agency in context to larger patterns and forces that shape our lives. There is extensive research demonstrating that social determinants of health play a major role in the challenges people are facing. EARTH believes in concurrently acknowledging and supporting transformational change in these upstream factors, while optimizing each person's ability to relate and respond effectively to their experiences. Self-Care in Context also embraces teachings that remind us to "give the best of us, not what's left of us" and that "when we are serving others, we are serving ourselves, and when we are serving ourselves, we are serving all others."
