This Privacy Policy presents EARTH policy concerning the gathering and sharing of visitor and user information through EARTHs website(s) as well as in all of its programming. EARTH is concerned about the protection of the privacy of its website visitors, members and donors. We respect your privacy and your choice not to have your personal information shared with other people. Your use of our website indicates your acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

Website Information

EARTH only collects personal contact information (such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses and phone numbers) when users submit it voluntarily. To make our website more useful to you, our server automatically collects information when you visit our site, such as, but not limited to, your IP address, date and time of your visit, pages viewed and clickstreams. EARTH will not collect or track information that may identify you personally.

Financial Information

All access to donor financial information is strictly limited to professional staff that needs to process that data. No such data is given to any person, organization, or group who does not need to access those data.

EARTH only uses online payment processing services with world class security and strong reputations. This includes Givebutter, GiveNative, and PayPal Giving Fund. EARTH does not store, nor does it have access to your credit card information, bank account numbers, or other account data sent to these processing services.

Donations to EARTH are deposited into its bank account within the timeframe consistent with its financial policies and procedures. This provides the highest possible level of security and confidentiality.

Mailing Address

EARTH will not use, sell, or exchange your mailing or e-mail addresses.

Copyright

Images, text, software, documentation, electronic text, and image files, audio and video clips and other materials are the property of EARTH and will be protected by copyright laws and other restrictions. Furthermore, copyrights and other proprietary rights in the materials on this site may belong to individuals and entities other than EARTH. EARTH takes every precaution to assure the use of original, creative commons, or paid licensing materials. EARTH expressly prohibits the copying of any protected materials on this website, except for the purposes of fair use doctrine as defined by copyright law and as described below. Philanthropy is based on intentional and voluntary action to serve the common good. Philanthropy is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the values held within Indigenous and many other populations, cultures, and traditions from around the world. To ensure that EARTH’s philanthropy efforts merit the respect and trust of the public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in our non-profit organization, we declare that all donors have the following rights:

I. To be informed of EARTH’s organizational mission, of the way our organization intends to use donated resources, and of our capacity to use donations effectively for intended purposes.

II. To be informed of the identity of those serving on EARTH’s governing board, and to expect the EARTH board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.

III. To have access to EARTH’s most recent financial statements.

IV. To be assured all gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.

V. To receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition.

VI. To be assured that information about your donation is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.

For good and valuable consideration, I authorize EARTH: Empowering All Relatives To Heal (EARTH) to use my voice and/or image(s) and/or testimonial(s) taken in photos and/or video recording and/or written word and/or electronic (e.g. email, online forms, etc.) formats, taken at and/or in conjunction with any events that EARTH sponsors/co-sponsors. I understand that the media/material may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, and/or distributed and I waive my right to inspect and/or approve any finished product. I understand that testimonials received in writing, if used for EARTH purposes, will not be substantively changed but may be copy-edited for brevity and/or clarity. I understand that EARTH will own the copyright to any media it produces from the images/content/media taken. I understand that EARTH is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing justice, sovereignty, and equity, and will not receive monetary compensation from the use of the images or other material that does not directly support EARTH’s values, mission, and vision. I understand that if I am recorded via video/audio/writing, I retain the rights in my spoken and/or printed content (the “Content”). I guarantee that any Content I present; that is recorded, is my own original work and I have not copied it from any other source. I grant EARTH a perpetual license to include the Content in its media archives for the purpose of advancing its work and mission, unless I revoke it in writing. Accessibility

EARTH makes every effort to meet the accessibility requirements of the The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). EARTH invites users to alert us to any needs that support accessibility to our website(s), programs, and services. EARTH will make every effort to schedule all events open to the public in an accessible space. If for any reason an EARTH community event is scheduled in a space that is not accessible and the event organizer receives a request for an accommodation from an individual with a disability, the organizer will work with the appropriate space reservation office to find an alternate location that is accessible. EARTH will review all Accommodation Requests and make every reasonable effort to accommodate for an inclusive environment and experience.

EARTH aims to send emails only to recipients who opt in to receive communications. EARTH maintains a list of permission-based email addresses. Users of EARTHs website, programs, subscription/registration systems, should report any suspected spam activity to contact@earthrelatives.org for investigation.
